At PsychLaw Reports, we provide independent psychological assessments and structured written reports for legal, criminal, family law, and educational matters. Our services include forensic and court-related assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and educational reports to support schools, universities, and institutional decision-making. All assessments are evidence-based and tailored to the specific referral questions.

Our psychologists are fully registered. Reports are prepared objectively and clearly, with careful attention to clinical reasoning, transparency of methodology, and alignment with professional standards. We are committed to providing ethical, impartial, and well-supported assessments to assist courts, legal representatives, educational institutions, and individuals in their decision-making processes.

Our Services:

Section 14 Reports and Other Court Assessments and Reports

Structured and independent psychological assessments are conducted to evaluate capacity, mental state, functional impairment, and treatment needs within a forensic context. Assessments involve clinical interview, review of relevant documentation, and, where appropriate, the use of standardised psychometric measures.

Reports are prepared in accordance with professional, ethical, and court requirements, and are structured to address the specific referral questions before the Court. Where relevant, reports may include diagnostic formulation, consideration of risk and functional impact, and clinically informed treatment recommendations.

Family Law Assessments and Reports

Psychological assessments are conducted in family law matters to address parenting capacity, mental health, trauma history, and family dynamics where relevant to the referral questions. Assessments may include clinical interviews, review of documentation, and, where appropriate, standardised measures.

Reports are prepared objectively and structured to assist the Court in considering arrangements that support the best interests of the child. Opinions are clearly reasoned, evidence-informed, and provided within the scope of professional expertise.

Educational, Vocational, and Neurodivergence Assessments and Reports

Comprehensive evaluations of learning profiles, cognitive functioning, academic performance, vocational capacity, and neurodivergent presentations (including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) ) to provide clarity around strengths, challenges, and support needs.

Reports deliver clear, evidence-based recommendations to assist schools, universities, workplaces, and institutions in implementing appropriate adjustments and meaningful support strategies.

Disability & NDIS Assessments and Reports

Psychological assessments are conducted to evaluate functional capacity, adaptive functioning, and the impact of psychological or neurodevelopmental conditions on daily living. This may include assessment of support needs across personal, social, educational, and occupational domains.

Reports can be prepared to support disability-related applications and reviews, including National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) access requests and plan reviews. Assessments may involve clinical interviews, review of relevant documentation, and the use of standardised measures where appropriate.

Reports are structured to provide clear, evidence-informed information to assist decision-makers in determining reasonable and necessary supports.
